You should never buy Target clearance items that have “30” on the label — but there’s always another number you can snag

YOU may be able to get a better deal on Target clearance items if you’re willing to wait.
According to a recent Video from the bargain hunter Christina Michelle On TikTok, there are specific digits to look for on Target that indicate the discount.
Dealer sales used to be reduced by up to 90 percent – but those times seem to be over.
But you can still score big discounts when Michelle went to the clothing department where items on the shelf were advertised at 30 to 70 percent off.
She then grabbed an article of clothing with a tag that read “30.”
“That means there’s a 30% discount, so it could go as high as 70,” Michelle explained.

The same goes for those who find an item with a 50 on the tag — they have the opportunity to earn an additional 20 percent discount if they wait patiently.
Michelle’s argument is that, ultimately, it’s wiser to hold off on a 30 percent sale item until it’s further discounted, be it 50 percent or 70 percent.
It may not make sense to buy an item immediately when it goes on sale unless there is an urgent need.
However, if you’re happy with the price, you might want to respond when you find that stock is low.
Otherwise you could miss something.
In fact, one user left a comment on Michelle’s video to note that items are never discounted up to 70 percent.
Not only that, some start right away with 50 percent off and tend to stay there.
The Sun reached out to Target for comment.
Other ways to save at Target
Aside from checking out sale tags on clearance clothing items, there are plenty of ways to save at Target.
A fan of the store uses third-party applications, including Ibotta and Shopkick, to get discounts and coupons that can save them tons of money.
It’s also important to check price matches as we head into the holiday season, as there might be some leftover Black Friday deals you could still get your hands on.
Using the Target mobile app to scan items in store is also important, as one shopper has proven that it can save you up to $150 on Christmas gifts.
